Home Inspections

Home inspections are very thorough and usually last between 2 to 3 hours, but can take longer for larger, older, or unique homes.  The home inspection covers the major components of the home including the foundation and structure, roof, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, interior and exterior, and more.

You are welcome to attend the inspection.  If you do not attend the inspection I would be more than happy to go over the report by phone and answer any questions you may have.

The written inspection report is sent out by email within 1 business day, and in many situations the same day.

The written report is typically around 20 pages long with photos and descriptions of problem areas, as well as lots of useful information specific to your home on what should be done to increase energy efficiency of your home.

Home inspections are conducted in accordance with Wisconsin Chapter SPS 131 Standards of Practice for Home Inspectors.
